Tsukimiru Released: See Your Monthly Installments, Loans, and Subscriptions Together in Graphs and Numbers on iPhone

Tsukimiru (ツキミル), an iPhone and iPad app for registering monthly payments such as installments, loans, and subscriptions, launched on the App Store on October 14, 2026. The app shows how long each payment lasts, the total of this month's and next month's bills, and the amount paid off versus the amount remaining, in lists and graphs. Version 1.2 followed on October 27, bringing the number of payment types to five and adding interest-rate and moving estimates. The name "Tsukimiru" comes from the Japanese for "see the month('s payments)."

App Overview

Monthly payments such as installments for furniture and appliances, home and car loans, and subscriptions each come with their own statements and withdrawal dates. Tsukimiru is a tool for registering these payments in one app and checking them together.

  • Shows the total of this month's and next month's bills, plus a list of this month's payments
  • Shows how long each payment lasts, and the amount paid off versus the amount remaining
  • Shows, in numbers, how much remains until a monthly limit you set yourself, and what remains of your take-home pay (and what percentage of it goes to payments)
  • Marks payments that will soon be paid off
  • Supports Japanese and English (follows the device language). Works on iPhone and iPad, and supports Dark Mode

Five Payment Types

The five payment types, which can also hold utilities and savings Choose from five payment types to register a payment

  • Installments: Calculates the total and the final billing month from the monthly amount, the number of payments, and the first billing month. You can also enter a different amount for the first payment only
  • Loans: Calculates the monthly amount, the total, and the last repayment from the loan amount, annual interest rate, repayment period, and repayment method (equal payments of principal and interest, or equal principal payments). You can overwrite the monthly amount with the figure from your repayment schedule, and you can add interest-rate changes
  • Subscriptions and recurring payments: Register payments that recur monthly, yearly, every few years, or in set months. Use it for internet fees, lessons, insurance, resident tax, rent, and more
  • Variable costs (estimates): Enter items whose amounts change, such as utilities, food, and monthly card withdrawals, as estimated amounts. You can also add extra amounts for high-cost months such as summer and winter
  • Savings and installment deposits: View automatic savings set aside first, fixed-term installment deposits, education insurance, and similar items separately from payments

You can also divide payments into groups (up to 10). Separate household and business payments, for example, then set a monthly limit for each group or view them combined.

Outlook: A Graph of Future Monthly Totals

The Outlook shows totals up to 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, and 50 years ahead in a bar graph. Each category has its own color, and if you have set a monthly limit, a limit line is drawn as well.

Estimates Without Registering Anything

Estimate of monthly repayments if a loan's interest rate rises Estimate of monthly repayments if a loan's interest rate rises

  • How the monthly total, and the gap from your limit, would change if you added one installment
  • Monthly repayments if a loan's interest rate rises by 0.5%, 1%, or 2% (you can also compare these in the Outlook graph)
  • Moving estimate: Compares your monthly payments and what remains with your current situation if you move from a rental or your current home to a home you buy. You can include bonus payments, management fees and repair reserve funds, property tax, moving costs, and more, and line up three patterns side by side

  • Payment details: See the amount paid off and the amount remaining, along with a repayment schedule (installment number, year and month, repayment amount, principal, interest, and balance). When you pay off a payment in a lump sum, you can choose "Mark as paid off"
  • Estimated mortgage tax deduction: On the Japanese-language screen, for loans in yen, calculates an estimated deduction amount by applying the general mechanism
  • Currency conversion: Converts payments or income in dollars or euros into estimated amounts using a rate you enter yourself
  • Sharing: Copy or share this month's list as text, or save or share the Outlook graph and its breakdown as an image. You can also share only percentages, without showing amounts
